So, in my internet wanderings today, stumbled across a link about a 12 year old who's being tried as an adult in Florida for murdering his 2 year old brother. After that, I went to a link about a 13 year old in Washington arrested for killing his father, followed by a 15 year old in Washington who randomly stabbed 2 school mates.
So, then I moved on to CNN. Here's what I've found:
1) After standard deductions and exemptions, only 53% of Americans are actually paying federal taxes.
2) There's a cult of Amish people cutting off other Amish people's beards. CNN actually used the phrase "Amish-on-Amish incidents". And, the length of an Amish man's beard is a "significant symbol of his faith." The FBI is investigating.
3) Remember Joe the Plumber from the 2008 election? He's running for Senator in Ohio.
4) "Rocky Horror Picture Show" is the poster movie for tolerance. Here I just thought it was another of Tim Curry's Campy Awesomeness.
5) STOP THE PRESSES!! Libraries lend out ebooks. Wait, why is this news?
6) A couple in Jersey named their kids "Adolf Hitler" and "Aryan Nation", thinking that it wouldn't be a big deal. WHAT THE.... That is what your brain is for.
7) Another reason I shouldn't have kids? Apparently, you negative emotions can have an affect on you baby's psyche, causing them to be aggressive later in life.
8) PETA sued SeaWorld for Slavery. Not kidding. In San Diego.
9) The official ruling on Amy Winehouse's death? Misadventure. Too much vodka.
10) Kim Kardashian is complaining because the media is messing up her marriage. What did she expect?
