Customer Service Woes...and Other News

I have no idea why people who shop online can't actually use computers.  It drives me bonkers.  Anyway, it's been customer service no bueno week, from the lady who threw a fit and then sent us the wrong items back to the chick who just wouldn't listen.  Man, am I glad tomorrow is Friday.  Though, I've spent all day thinking it was Wednesday, which has been great.  Because then I remember that it's Thursday, and that means that tomorrow is the last day of the work week.  Yay!

In other news, the wedding is pretty much done.  Which means I need a new project.  Which has turned into 2 things.  One, re-doing Today's Crochet.  Because, well, let's face it, it needs it.  I'll be working on it.  Second, finding out how to get good craft products at low prices.  IE-Wholesale.  Woohoo, I'm excited.

Today's fun news?  Our honeymoon airline tickets got changed, and now we're spending almost 14 hours at the Newark airport.  My first thought?  What the heck is there to do in Newark?  So, I Googled that.  You know what there is to do?  Go to freaking New York!!  So we're doing that.

What can I say, I've never been to New York.  It'll be all new and exciting.  And I'm sure I'll think there are way too many people everywhere, but it'll be a nice experience.

Also in great news, y'all should head over to Bound Compass soon.  Someone is posting his first adventure, and it's awesome!  Got about 20 minutes?  Need a laugh?  Check out Devin's audio drama.  And if you're a huge fan, you'll be able to buy it on iTunes soon.  So enjoy.

I'm trying to think of something funny.

Oh!  Got it.  I went yesterday to donate plasma, and the lady who is sticking me just can't get to the vein.  I'm squirming, because I really don't like needles much, and she goes "You know, you squirming over there doesn't help."  My two thoughts (a) "Well, if you'd get the needle in my vein instead of poking it around like you're fishing with a spear, I'd stop wiggling!" and (b) "It's either wiggle or hold my breath.  Would you rather I pass out?"  But I said neither, as it's not a good idea to antagonize the person who is sticking a needle in your arm.

I loved New York City. I would actually brave the snow and cold if it meant I could live there. You should check that you are allowed to leave the airport though.
